Katherine (“Katie”) Flores is a senior attorney in the Los Angeles office of Theodora Oringher.  Katie’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, and she has experience representing companies and individuals in matters involving fraud, breach of contract, defamation, interference, and other claims.

Katie also has substantial experience providing advice and guidance to commercial landlords and tenants throughout California, and she has litigated disputes involving breach of lease, lease interpretation, mechanics liens, CAM/operating expense calculations, and unlawful detainer.

In addition, Katie works with the firm’s construction practice on matters involving public and private projects and claims for delay, disruption, construction defect, and changed/unforeseen conditions.

Katie graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor in Business Administration. She worked in public accounting for over two years and earned her Certified Public Accountant license (now inactive) before attending law school. In 2016, she earned her J.D. and tax LL.M. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles through the law school’s 3-year joint degree program.
