
Kedar S. Vishwanathan is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Theodora Oringher PC. Kedar is an experienced attorney with litigation, litigation finance, and counseling experience in a variety of litigation contexts. He has a broad range of experience in litigation matters on both the defense and plaintiff sides. He has represented clients in a variety of complex litigation including complex mass tort claims, multi-party construction wrongful death claims, breach of an oral joint venture agreement and fiduciary duties, complex insurance recovery claims on behalf of policyholders, class actions, anti-trust matters, civil rights and constitutional matters, and other general disputes across a range of industries and legal topics.
Before joining the Firm, Kedar worked as a litigation associate at Andrade Gonzalez LLP an award-winning litigation boutique and with the Los Angeles office of Munger Tolles and Olson LLP, where he handled general commercial litigation and antitrust matters.
Before becoming an attorney, Kedar worked as a management consultant to the Chief Economist and the Economics and Markets team at Rio Tinto Limited where he assessed global uncertainty, created qualitative and quantitative scenarios, and quantified commodity demand.
Kedar received his B.A. with First Class Honors and a Ph.D. from the University of Sydney, and his J.D. with Distinction from the University of New South Wales School of Law, where he was awarded the Juris Doctor Scholarship for Academic Excellence. He also holds an LLM from Columbia Law School, where he graduated as a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. Kedar is licensed to practice law in California and New South Wales, Australia.
