Maryam Arshad
Associate
Maryam Arshad is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Theodora Oringher PC. She focuses her practice on general civil litigation in state and federal court. She represents clients in a wide array of matters, including contract disputes, fraud claims, breach of fiduciary duty allegations, and insurance coverage disputes. Her clients range from government entities, private businesses, joint ventures, and investment managers. Prior to joining Theodora Oringher, Maryam was an associate with Tressler LLP where she represented Fortune 500 insurance companies in insurance bad faith litigation and counseled clients on coverage decisions. She also has experience in appellate work for the California Court of Appeal. In 2019, earned her J.D. from University of California, Irvine School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California the same year. As a law student, Maryam served as an intern at the U.S. Small Business Association. She was a member of the UC Irvine Law Review and the Journal of International, Transnational and Comparative Law. She also served as the Chapter Director of the International Refugee Assistance Program at UCI Law where she oversaw the pro bono representation of overseas clients seeking refugee or other protective status in the United States.
