James Cunningham is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Theodora Oringher PC. James has extensive experience in handling all matters related to discovery including motion practice and conducting depositions. He has represented corporate clients in federal and state court in both business and real estate matters. His contributions to those multi-million dollar disputes were critical in driving favorable settlements for his clients. James also has experience representing southern California municipalities and working alongside government representatives at all levels in prosecuting violations of local law in criminal and civil matters.
James received his B.A. degree in political science from California State University, Northridge and his J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 2018. During law school, James was the recipient of the Witkin Award for Excellence in his Antitrust Law course and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in his Constitutional Law courses and Telecommunications Law and Policy course. Upon graduation, he obtained a concentration, with honors, in Entertainment and Media Law. James was admitted to the California State Bar in 2018.
Prior to joining Theodora Oringher James was an attorney at Ecoff Campain & Kay, LLP. His primary areas of focus included business, real estate, and civil litigation.
