Elizabeth Lachman is a senior attorney in the Los Angeles office of Theodora Oringher. Liz’s practice focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation, where she represents individual and corporate clients in various areas of the law, including commercial law, partnership disputes, entertainment and intellectual property, securities, and real estate. Prior to joining the firm, Liz was Vice President of Litigation for the largest privately owned toy company in the world. While there, her practice focused on protecting and defending the company’s valuable intellectual property around the globe, while advising the company on day-to-day issues including intellectual property; entertainment and licensing; products liability; and general compliance, including best practices and regulations regarding the safekeeping of consumer and data privacy and website compliance. While there, Liz represented the company in several trials and global arbitration, while also successfully defeating cases at the pre-trial stage. Prior to her in-house career, Liz was a partner in the Los Angeles office of a national law firm where she represented clients in entertainment, consumer products and fashion, real estate, securities, and matters brought under the False Claims Act.
