Angela Y. Li


Angela Y. Li is an associate attorney in the Orange County office of Theodora Oringher. Prior to joining Theodora Oringher, Angela was an associate with Lubin Olson where she practiced real estate, construction, and development disputes, including disputes in the multifamily, affordable housing, and renewable energy sectors. Angela is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles School of Law where she was the Chair of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Student Association. Angela was recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship 2014-2017 and First Place Winner of Lowell Milken Institute-Sandler Prize Competition.

  • Represented entity and individual clients in general commercial litigation matters in arbitration (JAMS and AAA), state and federal courts, with specialized experience in construction and real estate industries
  • Second chaired in JAMS arbitration, receiving award of 100% of client’s demanded damages
  • Obtained monetary, issue, and terminating sanctions against cross-complainant in federal action
  • Advised national firms on regulatory matters, including licensing, wage and hour, and local hiring laws
  • Taken percipient witness depositions; defended and prepared client representatives and expert witnesses for depositions and trial; prepared and argued motions; performed document review of databases exceeding 600,000 files; negotiated settlements; led case management efforts; prepared legal strategies; and advised clients on risks and options
