
Shahed Abualsamen is an associate attorney in the Costa Mesa office of Theodora Oringher PC. Shahed represents employers in a range of workplace disputes in state court, federal court, and arbitration tribunals. She has served as a litigation attorney where she managed cases related to employment, securities and maritime.
Shahed received her B.S. from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a major in finance and a minor in international business. Shahed interned for JusticeCorps, a division of AmeriCorps. After spending two years as a legal clerk at a litigation law firm in Chicago, Shahed attended law school and received her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
While in law school, Shahed externed for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California in its General Civil, Civil Appeals, and Civil Fraud Divisions. Additionally, Shahed had the opportunity to work as a judicial extern for the Honorable Diane M. Shelley in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division Section.
