Theodora Oringher Retained for Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Project

Kevin Dorse and Erich Luschei have been retained by the Port of Long Beach as counsel for the $1.5 billion Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Project that will reshape the skyline of Southern California with an iconic 1.5 mile cable-stayed bridge that is currently under construction.  The new bridge will have twin 515’ towers and 205’ clearance over the water, allowing the Port to handle the newest and most efficient cargo vessels.  The new bridge is a critical part of our infrastructure because about 15 percent of the country’s waterborne cargo is trucked across the existing bridge.
