Diversity and Inclusion
Theodora Oringher PC is a leading and innovative law firm where diversity and inclusion are part of its core values. The commitment to these core values is reflected in our hiring, retention and commitment to the professional success of minority and women attorneys, as well as all of our attorneys. One way that we fulfill these core values is that we offer Domestic Partner Benefits to all full-time attorneys and staff. We believe and recognize that through diversity and inclusion, we can capitalize on our unique experiences and perspectives to provide the most effective representation to our clients.
Theodora Oringher attorneys are actively involved in professional organizations and bar associations that support the advancement of women and minorities in the legal profession, including such organizations as the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California and the Hispanic Bar Association, to name a few. Theodora Oringher has also provided sponsorship to organizations similarly dedicated to the success of women and minority attorneys in the profession, including the Corporate Counsel Women of Color, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, and the National Employment Law Counsel. Finally, our attorneys and staff members participate in charitable and community events to serve under represented groups in our communities, such as serving as mentors to young students, serving as board members for organizations like the Armando Gallegos Foundation, which provides scholarships for financially disadvantaged high school students, and Millennium Housing, a nonprofit organization that creates and provides affordable housing throughout California. Each year the firm allows high school and college students of diverse and multi-cultural backgrounds to experience what it is like to work in a law firm through internship programs.
At Theodora Oringher we pride ourselves on being an equal opportunity employer. We support all attorneys and staff regardless of race, age, color, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, gender identity, disability, or any other condition or characteristic protected by applicable state or federal laws. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is in effect and remains an ongoing process.
